I'm a somatic coach and yoga teacher who helps purpose-driven leaders reconnect to their bodies, regulate their nervous systems, and lead with grounded clarity.
My approach blends somatic awareness, mindful movement, and trauma-informed coaching to support real transformation—from burnout and overwhelm to resilience and presence. With a background in leadership development and years of embodied practice, I guide clients toward deep self-trust and values-aligned action—starting from the inside out.

What is somatics?
Somatics is, as Staci Haines says, a "radically different view of who we are". Somatics is a body-based mindfulness practice that helps us build awareness of habits, and cultivates more choice and freedom. Somatic practice engages our thinking, feeling, sensing, and actions to help us align our actions with our commitments and values so we can move past habitual ways of reacting toward more choice, resilience, and purpose.
"Somatics" is quite a buzzword these days, and is often simplified to be a form of exercise that helps release stress and tension – which is great, but not sufficient for long-term transformation. I use some of these techniques – stretching, shaking, breathing, grounding – in my coaching, as well as emphasizing internal sensation over any external achievement or what something "looks like". My priority, though, is somatic practice: helping clients to expand that internal awareness of tension and stress to how that influences our actions, relationships, and sense of self. My intention is that our sessions together and your work between sessions helps you embody new and values-aligned qualities.
Social transformation happens when we practice new ways of being in relationship and community, starting small and emphasizing replicable, community-based practices.
Who is leadership coaching for?
Leadership coaching is for "leaders in any seat" to learn to embody the qualities and capacity they know they are capable of. Emerging leaders, new managers or supervisors, those going through a career change, or those seeking purpose or clarity in their work all benefit from a support partner to bring an external perspective, set vision or outcome goals, develop sustainable practices, and provide accountability and support for new behaviors.
My approach to leadership coaching includes somatic work, mindfulness, and presence-based practices to help clients move beyond the thinking mind to integrate new learning and truly embody the type of leadership they believe in.
What's the difference between somatic coaching and somatic therapy? Are you a licensed therapist?
Somatic coaching is a powerful form of healing, but it differs from therapy in that it is primarily forward-looking. Rather than focusing on unpacking the past, we tend to it with the purpose of integrating that experience, learning from it, and moving toward the life you want to create.
My training and credentials are in a developmental and transformative coaching approach called Presence Based Coaching, as well as ongoing training in somatic trauma integration tools and mindfulness practices. I'm a Certified Presence Based Coach and Associate Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation.
